Caring for Crystals

I keep a varied selection of crystal stones  in my supply stash.  When set in beaded bezels, these “gems” become stellar additions to my beaded work.  Common sense tells one they should be stored individually to avoid chips.  But I’ve learned a trick recently that protects the delicate foil backing. Simply apply a clear coat of nail polish to the back and it will keep the foil from rubbing off through repeated wear.
