Brio Gallery...this one's for you!

Gallery owner extraordinaire, Marsha Rinetti has been asking for a piece that features one of my "cosmic cabochons" and I've finally found the time to create one.  Inspired by treasures of the sea, it is an off-shoot of the original prototype, "Sea Flower" pin-pendant and therefore, I've titled it "Sea Flower II".  The one-of-a-kind focal cabochon contains a small seashell, gold foil, tiny reflective glass shards, bits of paper and  ephemera, and of course, a sprinkling of magic particles (a.k.a. ultra-fine glitter) captured in crystal clear resin.  A lovely large  faceted aventurine teardrop dangles from a coil of argentium® sterling silver at the bottom of the piece while coiled steel wire serves as a bail at the top.  If you'd like more information regarding this pin-pendant or other pieces of my jewelry, please contact Marsha at  Brio Gallery in Galena, Illinois where you will find a wide variety of my mixed media jewelry as well as works by many well-known artists.
