Bead and Button - Day One

I'm having a blast!  This was the first day of a two-day workshop with Susan Lenart Kazmer - she is a really interesting  wild  and crazy lady and also a very good teacher.  Her classes are alway fun!  Susan had a display of her work and here is a collection of her rings and earrings.  Her jewelry is so whimsical, free, and spontaneous.  Today we learned how to carve a mold to cast glass in.  Tomorrow we'll make a piece of jewelry from that glass combined with sterling silver and bronze.  I'm really excited and can't wait to start making a setting for it and the resulting piece of jewelry!
