In the photo below, I've shown these polymer clay beads in their "raw" state prior to being baked. Although col
ors always seem to darken a bit after baking, some are still far more vivid than I want for a project I have in mind. The photo above shows the beads after baking, but I have applied acrylic paint to select areas and baked them a second time as well. In comparing photos, you'll notice that the colors in the above photo are somewhat subdued and possess more depth and detail. I prefer the complexity and shading they now have. I'll post the finished project soon.
