A study in form, color, and texture...
These petite polymer clay torpedo-shaped fobs were such fun to make! I started by making core beads that look like tiny cigars. After curing, these core beads serve as armatures to which I can apply thin layers of polymer clay in a painterly fashion. Like a blank canvas, they allow me to play with color and various textures to create a variety of abstract designs. I couldn't resist topping each with a decorative finial and brushing on a light dusting of pearlescent powder. These will be great pendants!
