Mixed media...I love it! It's difficult for me to settle on one passion. Without question, I love working in metal, but the colors one can incorporate with the addition of resin and beading is gaining fast. Add to that the texture and earthiness that Faux Bone™ or polymer clay contribute! And when you use them all together, I believe you have a winning combination. This bronze collage pendant holds a pink pearl, text, a bit of blue ribbon, and a glass shard. It is enhanced with a cap of carved and textured Faux Bone™ that is attached with tiny rivets. A lovely faceted labradorite AB trillion dangles from sterling silver wire at the bottom and the pendant glides along a smooth herringbone stitched chain of light bronze Miyuki Delica beads.
