Jackson sitting at my workbench has nothing to do with this post so I’ll get right to the heart of the matter…if you have begun receiving duplicate blog posts, there is a reason for this. Having moved my blog to my website several months ago, I discontinued posting new blogs on my original WordPress blog. However, I was unable to transfer to my website the email addresses of those who had signed up for my original blog…as well as every blog and photo I had posted during the past five years! The result? Those who wanted to continue receiving my blog via email would have to sign up to follow me on my website’s (barbarabriggsdesigns.com) Barbara’s Blog page. The problem is that many new followers have been signing up on my original WordPress blog page and because my new blogs have posted only on my website blog page, those new followers have not been receiving my posts. To remedy the situation, I’m now posting on both my website blog page and WordPress blog page…double work for me, but a reasonable alternative. Those of you who are receiving a duplicate blog post can unsubscribe from the duplicate…just click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email that contains my post. Receiving duplicate emails can be annoying so I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I certainly wouldn’t want anyone to miss out if they have signed up to receive my blog whether on my website or WordPress page. So there you have it! And, by the way…Jackson says “Hi!”.
