Many of you have been waiting very patiently for this design to be offered as a tutorial and beading kit. Well, the wait is over. Both the kit and tutorial are now listed in my Etsy shop. It’s so interesting how color contributes to a design. The original version was created in a brilliant red with white accents. I’ve made the second “Empress Ming” cuff in a beautiful Royal Blue, which lends a subdued elegance to the piece. I assure you that either are fit for an Empress! This cuff is a study of Wings and Horns inspired by Kate McKinnon’s book, Contemporary Geometric Beadwork. CGB-Volume II is in the works and I’m pleased to report that photos of several of my pieces will be included!
Hail, Empress Ming!

Beautiful! Once I finish my last dragon – I think I may have to treat myself to this.
It will be a nice change from the Sea Dragon patterns!
