I can cross this project off my “to do” list. In spite of my little helpers who were constantly jumping up on my work table and playing with loose seashells, I’ve managed to finish the mirror repair in fairly short time. I’m pleased with the bold mosaic look of the shells in contrast with the salvaged mirror shards. I was inspired by many vacations spent in Hawaii to set the seashells in black epoxy resin clay and texture the clay so it resembles cooled lava. Hopefully, I can get back to my jewelry bench now and complete projects that have been languishing…if life doesn’t get in the way, which it seems to have a habit of doing!
Finished!

That turned out so cool! You took all the bad juju right out of that broken mirror and replaced it with the awesomeness of flowing lava and seashells! Great job!
Thank you, Patricia! It’s flowing with good juju now!
