It’s something I haven’t done in quite a while. I’ve had my hydraulic press for over twenty years and when I first acquired it, I worked with it a lot! I sawed my own die forms and made a lot of beads and components as shown in my “Harvest” necklace above. In the past ten or so years, I’ve woefully neglected my press and missed out on adding 3-D elements using its capabilities in my recent works. Well, I’ve found my stash of dies (shown below) and I’m ready to have a go again…it’s time to play!
I love your posts, and always look forward to see what you are, doing. These hollow forms are beautiful and fun.
Thank you, Alicia! I have some great ideas for earrings and brooches and can’t wait to get in the studio and play with these!
I especially love your Cloisonné! All so beautiful!
Carol
Thank you, Carol! Cloisonné is something I haven’t done is such a long time as well. I have a drawer filled with powdered enamels, but I’m not enticed to get back into enameling at the moment. Maybe someday?
