I’m in the process of creating several more pairs of earrings. They have become my favorite “go to” jewelry of late and there are several reasons for that. I had always favored bracelets, but discovered they have been responsible for snagging my fine knit clothing…even beadwoven bracelets catch on knit fabric! Obviously, a cuff with an ultra-smooth surface isn’t a problem and I’ll probably get around to creating some. The other reason I find earrings so appealing is that I tend to wear my hair pulled back in a braid or ponytail most of the time, which really shows earrings to their best advantage. They also don’t get in the way when I’m writing or working as bracelets sometimes do. Of course, I still love to make and wear bracelets…I just have to be choosy as to what clothing I wear when they are on my wrist!
