Having not worked with polymer clay in quite a while, I realized how very much I have missed the process. I admit that today’s brief interlude would not have occurred had I not run out of the colorful polymer seashells that I have been including in my recent Bead Colourways Treasure Box Collections and the “Spine and Shells” cuff kit. So I took time to make a slew of these beauties in different sizes, shapes, and colors! I love the subtle iridescence and shimmer of these seashells, which I’ve created by pressing into molds that I’ve made from natural seashells I’ve collected on beaches in Hawaii and the Caribbean. These components can be used to embellish just about anything! They also serve as beautifully functional buttons and as focal cabochons on bead embroidered pieces. I’ve listed several assortments in my Etsy shop. Take a look!
An afternoon of play with Polymer Clay!

Beautiful. I bet you had a ball turning these out. As always, can’t wait to see what you create with them.
I did have a ball! Wish I had more time to work with polymer clay…not enough hours in a day for me ever!
