A lot of beads…an order of over nine kilos of Toho 11/0 seed beads, 2 kilos of Toho 15/0 seed beads, 1.5 kilos of 3mm Magatamas, and 100 grams of 2mm fire polished crystals. They have just arrived on my doorstep! I love Toho beads! Manufactured in Japan and known for consistency and quality, they are a joy to work with. The colors and finished offered are superb. They are more expensive than many other brands of seed beads, but well worth the price. Knowing how time (hours upon hours!) that go into the design and execution of a project, I want to use the very best materials I can afford! I have a good stash of Delica beads (also made in Japan), but my supply of Toho 11/0s was rather meager. Now I have enough for many projects and plenty with which to assemble kits for designs I have in mind. Necklace, bracelet, earrings, and brooch designs are dancing in my head! Guess I’d better get busy sorting through all these beads and finding storage for them so the process of beading can commence!

Toho 11/0 seed beads are round beads. They are larger and less fragile than Delica 11/0, and the colors offered are incredibly beautiful. However, if you are strictly beading geometric works, Delicas seem best suited to those.
