I have worn my “Mermaid” Cuff to death! Life is short and I refuse to save my beadwork for so-called special occasions because frankly, at my age, I consider every day to be a special occasion! Wearing a sparkly, razzle-dazzle piece of jewelry makes me happy and the “Mermaid” Cuff” (inspired by Horns, Fortune Teller, and Zig-Zag in CGB) has accomplished this swimmingly (pun intended)! This repair is the result of having neglected to remove my cuff while cooking – one of the fins danced a bit too close to the flame, which weakened the thread. Fortunately it is an easy repair requiring just a bit of re-weaving and it will be good as new in time to wear to Bead&Button!
Time to repair….
