I always have a beading project with me wherever I go. I even keep a beading kit in my car…the Girl Scout in me subscribes to the motto “Be prepared”. This “go anywhere” tin carries a tiny beading mat, a spool of Fireline, scissors, needles, reading glasses, thread conditioner, and roughly 45 grams of 11/0 Delica beads, 15/0 accent and Charlotte beads. I’ve selected these colors for the next project, which will undoubtedly be another bracelet – my favorite go to piece when it comes to jewelry. One valuable lesson I’ve learned when choosing colors is to always throw in a bit of contrasting color…it just seems to make a piece sing!
Ready to go at a moment's notice…

Curious about your containers, do you write the color # on the tin. How do you know the bead # if you need more. I would just get smaller scissors.
I love my teeny containers! If I need to know the color numbers, I can write them on the bottoms of the tins with a magic marker. The scissors I use are child size Fiskars, which cut Fireline cleanly and are travel safe for flying.
