MRAW, which stands for Modified Right Angle Weave (inspired by CGB) plays a role in this piece. I’m working on the backside of my floral brooch now and the flower petals started with MRAW. Likewise, the small striped back petals began with MRAW as well. It’s such a versatile, time-saving stitch! I’m having such fun with this colourway of green, orange, and purple contrasted with gunmetal and bronze. I hope to have this piece finished soon as I have ideas for another floral brooch simmering on the back burner of my mind!
Playing off of MRAW…
