It actually started fifteen years ago when AARP began sending me offers to join their organization of senior citizens. Lately, literature regarding hearing aids has been appearing in my mailbox and, as this is my birth month, today my Medicare card arrived! Thankfully, I look and feel younger than my years, which helps to offset the reminder that I have chronologically reached the “golden years” and am no longer a “spring chicken”. Fortunately, these colorful Toho 3mm Magatamas were in my mailbox as well…they will take my mind off age and get the creative juices flowing!
I'm feeling a bit old today…

I know exactly how you feel 🙂 AARP has a way of making you feel old. All I can say is that you wear your age well! I would never have guessed…except for your mention of pop beads a few posts ago…and since I was very familiar with pop beads…well, I guess you know that I’m there with you 🙂
It’s nice to be in fine company! I’m looking forward to at least another thirty or forty years…I just hope my vision doesn’t quit because I’d hate to give up beading!
But ain’t we lucky we’re still on the right side of the sod 😉 … and still beading!
Yes we are, Sally!
