Miyuki of Japan manufactures Delica beads, which I have used extensively in my geometric beaded creations. But Miyuki also makes wonderful beads in many shapes and sizes…bugles, tilas, triangles, square, etc., and of course, seed beads in many sizes. I especially like the Picasso finished seed beads shown here and I’ve recently added these colors in size 6 to my stash because their holes are large enough to accommodate 16-gauge wire. I have ideas for bangle designs that will incorporate the Picasso beads along with geometrically beaded beads using Delicas and die-cut, hammer-textured charms. perhaps several will with bezel-set gemstones. I never quite know how a design will look when completed…a lot can change between the concept floating in my brain and the actual finished piece, but I can hardly wait to start working on a collection!
