I’ve been incommunicado these past few days. I didn’t realize how much I missed the internet until we had exceeded several gigabytes beyond our monthly plan courtesy of a huge chunk of data that was eaten up by updating our devices to ios7. That meant staying off-line until our next billing cycle kicked in. Because we live in the country, we have grown extremely dependent on the internet. I basically do the bulk of my shopping on-line and as I sell on Etsy, I’m dependent on email for sales notifications. I truly felt as if I had been transported back twenty years in time! On the plus side, without the distraction and time spent on social media and emailing, I did get a lot of beading done…the Empress Ming Cuff (inspired by Wings and Horns in CGB) is progressing nicely!
