Remember all those resin cabochons that were shown in my last post? Well, I’ve just finished a bead-embroidered brooch using one of those little lovelies and I’ve titled it “Sea Garden”. The sea-themed cabochon is surrounded by a treasure trove of pearls, bits of coral, crystals, Delicas, Magatamas, daggers, and seed beads and I absolutely love this piece! Later this week I will be assembling several One-of-a-Kind bead-embroidered brooch kits. Each kit will feature one of my handmade resin cabochons along with pearls and a lovely assortment of beads that complement and coordinate with the cab. I’m also working on a step-by-step tutorial for creating a free-form bead-embroidered brooch that will be included with the kit! The beading kits and tutorials will be available by the weekend…I’ll let you know as soon as they are they are listed in my Etsy shop!
